BPOM Cabut Izin Edar 69 Obat dari Tiga Industri Farmasi, Ini Daftarnya

LANGIT7.ID - , Jakarta - Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) mencabut izin edar 69 obat sirop milik tiga perusahaan farmasi, yaitu PT Yarindo Farmatama, PT Universal Pharmaceutical Industries, dan PT Afi Farma.

BPOM mendapati ketiga industri farmasi tersebut menggunakan bahan baku pelarut Propilen Glikol dan produk jadi mengandung cemaran Etilen Glikol melebihi ambang batas aman.

Hasil investigasi pengawasan BPOM, melalui inspeksi, perluasan sampling, pengujian sampel produk obat sirop, dan bahan tambahan yang digunakan, disimpulkan ketiga industri farmasi tersebut melakukan pelanggaran di bidang produksi sirop obat.

"BPOM menetapkan sanksi administratif dengan mencabut sertifikat Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik (CPOB) untuk sediaan cairan oral nonbetalaktam dan izin edar sirup obat yang diproduksi ketiga industri farmasi tersebut," tulis BPOM dalam siaran pers, diterima Langit7.id, Selasa (8/11/2022).

BPOM memerintahkan ketiga industri farmasi tersebut untuk menghentikan kegiatan produksi dan menarik semua obat sirop dari pedagang, termasuk apotek, toko obat, dan fasilitas pelayanan farmasi lainnya.

"Industri farmasi juga harus memusnahkan semua persediaan sirup obat dengan disaksikan oleh Petugas Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) BPOM dengan membuat Berita Acara Pemusnahan dan melaporkan pelaksanaan perintah penghentian produksi, penarikan, dan pemusnahan sirup obat kepada BPOM," tambah keterangan BPOM.

Secara rinci, ada 49 obat sirop dicabut dari PT Afi Farma, 14 produksi PT Universal Pharmaceutical Industries, dan enam lainnya milik PT Yarindo Farmatama. Berikut daftarnya.
